I am a child of God, wife, and a mother of 4 amazing young men. I was born in San Jose, California. My mother's name is Shirley Cedillo and I never got the chance to know my father. My mother passed away when I was 4 years old, leaving behind myself and my two siblings. I went to live with an aunt once my mother passed. I then went to go live with my grandmother in San Antonio, Texas.

 

I have endured many hardships throughout my life. Some of these obstacles include growing up without parents, rejection, abandonment, fear, confusion, unhealthy independence, not trusting people, building walls around me, double mindedness, dealt with depression and anxiety, anger, distorted identity, becoming a young parent at the tender age of 16 years old, and having to guide myself through life by making mistakes and difficult decisions.

 

I came to truly know Christ in the fall of 2017 after a major event had taken place resulting in me having to call out for God to find the missing piece that I never knew I needed. I fell hard for Jesus and went all in studying his word and listening to pastors, podcast, evangelist and anything I could get my hands on to learn more about Christ and who I was thought Him. My bible was highlighted, notated, and contained numerous sticky notes throughout. I had never felt so full of life and I truly wanted others to see and feel the real Jesus.
